En 1Power somos conscientes de que España, y más concretamente la Región de Murcia, es el país con la tasa más alta de obesidad infantil. Esto implica un impacto directo negativo en la salud de los más pequeños, y eso, como comprenderás, no es algo que agrade.
A raíz de esto, comenzamos a darle vueltas al cómo podíamos aportar nuestro pequeño granito de arena para mejorar la salud infantil.
Así fué como nació nuestro proyecto STOP Obesidad Infantil, cuyo único fin es que las niñas y niños de nuestro país crezcan de la manera más saludable posible.
En este proyecto colaboramos de forma estrecha con el programa educativo Escuelas Activas, cuyo fin pretende solucionar el problema del sobrepeso y la obesidad a través del ejercicio y una correcta alimentación. Junto a ellos, también colaboramos con la Consejería de Educación de la Región de Murcia y hacemos partícipes a 130 colegios de la región, sumando un total de 10.000 alumnos.
Al comienzo de este proyecto, se abasteció a decenas de niños de pulseras de medición de actividad con el fin de llevar a cabo ciertas actividades didácticas deportivas, generando un entorno competitivo y de superación, en el que los diferentes colegios y sus respectivas clases participen en un reto mensual.
Posteriormente hacemos entrega de una serie de diferentes premios y otorgamos productos propios a aquellos colegios que más actividad física han realizado.
Desde 1Power estamos encantados e ilusionados de poder formar parte de este proyecto tan bonito, en el que se busca un fomento incondicional de la actividad física, y una mejora constante de la salud de los más pequeños, pero aún vamos más allá, pues el 10% de todos nuestros beneficios son donados a diferentes acciones sociales con el fin de sumar y aportar para que la salud y el deporte formen, cada vez más, parte de nuestras vidas.
